We strive to make each year’s Women’s Awards one to remember. The prestige and glamour of our Gala Ceremonies honours the phenomenal achievements of the women our awards recognise yearly, whether nominees, shortlisted or winners. Held on Friday 27th September, the Women’s Awards 2024 Gala Ceremony has to have been our most fabulous celebration evening to date.
Our 8th annual ceremony took place at the beautiful IXL Event Centre, who made sure each attendee was well taken care of. The evening began with an unveiling of the stunning dining hall from behind a curtain.
We were joined this year by both the Deputy Lord-Lieutenant of Warwickshire, Clare Sawdon, and the High Sheriff of Warwickshire, Rajvinder Kaur Gill.
For 2024, we introduced two new categories to the Awards: ‘Outstanding Woman in Construction’, and ‘Outstanding Woman in Hospitality’. We also saw some impressive winners for our previous categories. You can see all of this year’s winners here.
“Thank you The Women’s Awards organisers – you have created such a wonderful platform for cross regional collaboration that will provide the opportunity for ongoing business and personal development opportunities.”
– Sue Tilley, Winner of the East Midlands Outstanding Senior Female Executive Award, and the East Midlands Inspirational Female Leader 2024.
Thank you to everyone that joined us, and congratulations once again to all of our winners. A huge thank-you goes to our Headline Sponsors, LBC Mentoring Ltd for the East Midlands and Creative Direction for the West Midlands – as well as all of this year’s Sponsors and Champions – for supporting our recognition and celebration of women across the Midlands.
Special thanks also to Tian Mhende at Stack House for producing a song in recognition of the event. It truly encapsulates what The Women’s Awards is all about.
